Pete joined the Business & Commercial Banking Executive Committee, in the role of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in October 2022. He leads all technology service and change across Digital Banking, Cash Management & Payments, Lending & Working Capital and Merchant Services business areas. Pete joined from Retail Transformation, where he led the engineering teams in driving strategic change across digital and core banking systems whilst transforming the bank’s technology capabilities. Pete is passionate about the people in the bank and has a desire to attract more under-represented engineering talent to the organisation.
Originally from the North East, Pete now lives in Wilmslow with his wife and three boys. He is a lover of all sports, both playing and watching, and his heart lies with Middlesbrough F.C.
