Alison has worked at Tesco for over two decades, joining the team in May 2003. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, Alison is responsible for Group Performance, Corporate Development and Analytics. Alison has held various roles in Finance across Tesco, starting her career as a Financial Analyst for its Property team, before moving to senior leader roles in General Merchandise, Online and Product. Prior to this role, Alison was the Finance Director for the UK where she was responsible for the financial performance of the UK & ROI business, and worked closely with the UK & ROI CEO to provide strategic and financial guidance. She is well versed in leading and coaching teams. Alison moved into her current role in May 2024. With a wealth of financial knowledge, Alison holds an ACMA from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, as well as a BA in History from the University of Birmingham. Prior to joining the Tesco team, Alison worked for Accenture where she held a number of finance roles.
